Morgan aims for 1400cc title in ‘Milley The Micra’

Lloyd Morgan is aiming to become 2018 Protyre MSA Asphalt Rally 1400cc Champion in his rapid Nissan Micra named ‘Milley The Micra’.

The talented 21-year old from Hirwaun in South Wales started rallying at the age of 14 in the Junior 1000 series – following which he built a new Nissan Micra for the 2015 Welsh Tarmac Championship, winning the 1400cc class, the Under 25 award and his class on the King of Epynt.

Having not rallies as much in 2016 and 2017, Morgan is back this season with a full championship assault. He’ll be co-driven by Marc Clatworthy and supported by Mike Morgan Rallying, Euro Tech Roofing, Dynamic Fluids and Spencer Sport.

“This year we are hoping to contest the full Protyre MSA Asphalt Rally Championship in our Micra that has brought us so much success in the past,” says Morgan. “We will be aiming firmly at trying to grasp the 1400cc class honours, but we will have to wait and see what the year holds for us with some new big adventures across the water!

“We’re looking forward to the Melvyn Evans Motorsport Tour of Epynt and can’t wait to get back in the car and hope for some good battles with fellow class competitors.”
