Prize-giving date reminder: Saturday 17 November

Don’t forget to put a date in your dairy for the 2018 Protyre MSA Asphalt Rally Championship gala prize-giving – which takes place in the beautiful Billesley Manor Hotel, three miles from Stratford upon Avon, on Saturday 17 November!

Preparations are well underway to make it a stunning night of celebration, with the prize-giving taking place in the stunning 16th century Elizabethan manor house’s stately Great Hall.

The prize-giving will reflect on what has been a fantastic comeback season for the Asphalt Rally Championship, and the incredibly close and exciting battles that are still raging in the overall and class categories.

The big award will be to the winning driver and co-driver, who will receive the ARC Trophy and BTRDA Award, the Motordrive Seats Perpetual Trophy and BTRDA Award and prestigious BTRDA Gold Stars. But everyone who has come on this fantastic Asphalt Rally Championship journey this year has contributed to making it an amazing season, and everyone is welcome and encouraged to join the big end-of-season party – regardless of how many points you’ve scored. You’re all winners in our eyes!

In addition to the overall and class trophies, many other awards will be presented on the night, including the Mintex Junior Award, the Melvyn Evans Motorsport Junior Award, the Nicky Grist Motorsports 1400cc Award, The Hendy Ford Performance Trophy, The Wales Motorsport Award, The Nutt Travel Award and the Tony Davies Memorial Award.

Set in 11 acres of parkland, Billesley Manor has a wonderful spa and beauty rooms, together with a gym, yoga hut, sauna, steam room, indoor swimming pool and outside tennis courts. It’s got a rich history too, as it’s where Shakespeare wrote ‘As You Like It’ and where he married his wife Anne Hathaway, in the 11th century All Saints Church, which are in the hotel grounds.

Information on how to book your tickets and accommodation will be published in due course.
