Manx National entries hit 100

The Manx Auto Sport-organised Masterpixel Media Manx National Rally has received 100 entries within a month of entries opening.

Rounds 2 and 3 of the 2019 Protyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship take place on the Isle of Man on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 May – and as the two-day rally counts as a double-header points scoring event, Asphalt Championship points will be awarded at the end of each day.

The Manx National offers 130 competitive stage miles, with eight fantastic stages running each day.

Some of the registered Asphalt Championship contenders already on the unseeded entry list include four time event winners Jason Pritchard/Phil Clarke in their Ford Focus WRC, as well as Gary Le Coadou/Carl Sorensen in their ex-Dani Sordo Hyundai i20 WRC, Damian Cole/Shelley Rogerson (Ford Focus WRC), John Stone/Jack Morton (Ford Fiesta WRC), Wayne Sisson/Max Freeman (Mitsubishi Evo 10), Alan Kirkaldy/Cameron Fair (Ford Fiesta R5), Huw Reed/Anthony Hackett (Darrian T90 GTR), Jamie Jukes (Mitsubishi Mirage), Mike Pugsley/Marc Clatworthy (Escort Mk1 RS2000), Will Mains/Claire Williams (Vauxhall Nova), Geoff Glover/Keith Barker (RWD Astra), Chris Ford/Neil Coleman (Subaru Impreza WRC S11), Hugh Hunter/Rog Fagg (Ford Focus WRC), John Indri/Matthew Smalley (Mitsubishi Mirage), Adrian Drury/Cat Lund (Peugeot 106 GTi), Richard Clews/Hamish Campbell (Subaru Impreza), Paul Doroszczuk (Escort Mk2), Phil Turner/Ryan Griffiths (Escort Mk2) and Tim Waters (Renault Clio V6).
