Manx Rally entries filling up fast!

With still over a week to go before the opening round of the 2020 Protyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship, the Legend Fires North West Stages, entries are already filling up fast for Rounds 3 and 4 of the series – the Manx Rally.

Event organisers Manx Auto Sport have already received well in excess of 100 entries for the two day double-header event, which will see full Championship points awarded at the end of day one on Friday 15 May and at the end of day two on Saturday 16 May.

Heading the big entry list are Jason Pritchard/Phil Clarke, winners of the last five out of six Manx National Rallies, while Hugh Hunter/Rob Fagg, who won the event in 2017, are also returning.

Other leading contenders on the provisional entry list include John Stone/Michael Gilbey, Graham Coffey/Marc Fowler, Wayne Sisson/Neil Shanks, Alan Kirkaldy/Cameron Fair, Adrian Spencer/Mark Hewitt, Chris Ford/Matt Daniels, James Ford/Lee Taylor and Gordon Morrison/Calum Macpherson

The new Ford Escort Challenge has received a big entry, with Mark Kelly/Neil Colman, John Richardson/Eric Wilcockson, Neil Roskell/Jonathon Kennedy, Paul and Julian Doroszczuk, Mike Pugsley/Marc Clatworthy, Graham Muter/TBC, Phil Turner/Terry Martin and Peter Jackson/James Chaplin already on the list.

The classes too are extremely well represented, with ferries to the Isle of Man already booked by Jonathan Stepney/Aled Davies, Ed Fossey/Gareth Parry, Geoff Wright/Jonathan Turnbull, Tim and Jack Waters, James Nicholls/David Allman, Mark Sheppard/TBA, Roger Moran/Den Golding, Graham Roberts/Stephen Spear, William Mains/Daniel Jones, Derek Blyth/Neil Bye, Ben Wilson/Kevin Wilson, Mark Greenbank/Cameron Dunn, James Munden/John Leigh, Mike Simpson/Dale Gibbons, William Hill/Richard Crozier, Richard Hill/Steffan Evans, Dai Roberts/Daniel Petrie, Anth Eaton/Ian Jackson, Chris Wheeler/Shaun Layland, Simon Bowen/Richard Robinson, Nathan Evans/Rhys Williams Edwards, Craig Jones/Ian Taylor, David Longfellow/Mark Broadbent, Stuart Anderson/Kenny Owen, John MacNiven/Graeme Kermode and Ashley Field/Josh Davison.
