Following the Prime Minister’s latest press briefing, where Boris Johnson outlined the roadmap out of lockdown, Cheltenham Motor Club was quick to confirm that the Hills Ford Three Shires Stages will go ahead as planned on Sunday 5 September, providing the national lifting of Covid-19 restrictions goes ahead as planned.
The eagerly anticipated round of the 2021 Protyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship will be based at the Three Counties Showground near Malvern in Worcestershire, with the rally action taking place on 100% closed road stages over the counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
The event will once again support the local communities in which the rally traverses, and the Community Support Fund will be open to local parish councils to bid for a portion of the grant. From the development of grassroots sports to a new defibrillator, all monies in the grant will go towards the development of the local communities located on the rally route.
A revised calendar for the 2021 Protyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship will be announced shortly.
