Epynt ready for Asphalt opener

Regulations are now available for the opening round of the Protyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship, the Rallynuts National Tour of Epynt Rally, which takes place on Sunday 10 March.

The Port Talbot Motor Club organised event will continue to put an emphasis on longer stages, a format that provided a fantastic challenge and close competition last year. The total distance will be approximately 70 stage miles.

A recce will take place on the morning of Saturday 9 March, before the noise check and scrutineering later the same day in Llandovery. The following day, the event will be based on the Mynydd Epynt military range, with the start at 08.40, the service area situated at the Quarry and the finish back in Llandovery at around 16.30.

The winners of the 2018 Tour of Epynt were Melvyn Evans and Mark Glennester in a Subaru Impreza WRC – the Lampeter driver a supporter of the event for several years via his Melvyn Evans Motorsport concern, for which Port Talbot MC is sincerely thankful.

Regulations and Entry form for the Tour of Epynt are now available for download on the Port Talbot MC website, ptmconline.com.
