Port Talbot Motor Club is looking to run the Legend Fires Tour of Epynt in either early July or early August – meaning that the famous mid-Wales military range will host a round of the 2021 Protyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship, albeit on a different date.
The Tour of Epynt was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday 3 April. However, owing to the on-going Covid-19 restrictions in Wales, it was becoming increasingly apparent that this Easter Weekend date would not be possible.
The MOD has suggested Sunday 11 July as a viable new date, or a further date in early August.
Both dates are currently being evaluated by Port Talbot MC, and the event organisers will make a further announcement when discussions have concluded.
It is not the intention to cancel the 2021 Legend Fires Tour of Epynt.
Is there currently any further information regarding this event ? as there has been no update as to what is happening for some time either on this site or the PTMC site !
