Last year’s East Riding Stages winners Mark Kelly/Will Atkins have been seeded at number one for this Sunday’s opening round of the 2025 Protyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship, as they make their competition debut in their Kelmore Volkswagen Polo GTI R5.
The Beverley & District Motor Club organised event has attracted a star-studded entry – with last year’s Protyre Asphalt champions Callum Black/Jack Morton (Pallas Connections Ford Fiesta Rally2) seeded at number 5, three-time champions Jason Pritchard/Phil Clarke (North Road Garage Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) seeded at nine, 2022 champion Steve Wood (Sligo Pallets Citroën C3 Rally2) at 10, three-time runner-up Neil Roskell (ND Civils/Burdens/Witham Motorsport Fiesta Rally2) at 12 and six-time champion Damian Cole seeded at number 20 in his Get Connected Citroën C3 Rally2.
And the battle for Protyre Asphalt points will be spread out along the entire entry list, with the likes of Tim Phelps/Peter Wilson (Britpart Escort Mk2) seeded at number 131, Kyle Casement/Liam McCann (BVS Vehicles/FRM Rally Management Citroën C2) seeded at number 149 and William Mains/Emma Clarke (WCS/Speedy Sofas Vauxhall Nova) seeded at number 162.
And don’t forget that Sunday’s opening round will be streamed live and free-to-view on the Special Stage TV Facebook and YouTube channels.
