There is a lot of rallying still to do before we crown our overall and class champions, but please put Saturday 8 November in your diary for the 2025 Protyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship Gala Prizegiving and Awards ceremony.
By popular demand, the event will once again take place at the Drayton Manor Hotel near Tamworth in Staffordshire.
In addition to the awards for the top three finishers in each class, there will be special awards such as the Tony Davies Memorial Award (given to an individual who has done something special in relation to the Protyre Asphalt Rally Championship – which last year was presented to Phil Sandham), 2025 Rally of the Year (won last year by the Manx Rally), Best Newcomer (won last year by Sam Touzel) and the OnThePaceNote Junior Award (won last year by James Labey).
Paul Woodford will be the MC for the evening and Special Stage TV will be showing a review of the year.
Tickets (priced at £55 per person) aren’t available just yet, but you can book accommodation at the Drayton Manor Hotel (01827 285551) now by quoting BTRDA Asphalt Awards. The cost is £110 for a double/twin or £100 for single occupancy and these rates include breakfast and VAT.
