The opening round of the free to enter Protyre Motorsports UK Asphalt Rally Championship eSports tournament has been completed, with NickyL555 leading the ‘Protyre Asphalt’ series after a very impressive performance.
Selecting a Lancia Delta HF Integrale to tackle the super smooth asphalt roads of Spain, NickyL555 has opened up a 34.44 second lead over ewantindall, while Suter555UK is in third.
Round 2, played on the DiRT Rally 2.0 game, has automatically started, with competitors having until next Monday at 4pm to compete six Rally Germany stages.
After the opening round used Group A rally cars, this week it’s the turn of the rear-wheel drive Group B cars – and you can choose from a Lancia 037, Opel Manta 400, BMW M1 or a Porsche 911.
There are five ‘Protyre Asphalt’ rounds in total, with a new round starting every Monday.
Even if you have missed the first round, you can still join in the fun by logging on to the Codemaster Racenet section and adding ‘Protyre Asphalt’ to your list of club favourites.
